Accessibility statement
We want everyone to be able to use this site — regardless of device, sight or motor ability. Here we say what is already done, what is not yet, and where to report a barrier.
Version effective from
1. Standard and scope
This statement applies to triovendi.lt in all three languages. We target WCAG 2.1 level AA (EN 301 549), as the European Accessibility Act requires of e-commerce from 28 June 2025.
2. What is already done
These points are checked on every route, not just the home page:
- Every page has one main heading and a consistent heading tree; breadcrumbs and landmark names for screen readers are everywhere.
- Filters, sorting, search, sign-in and order placement work without JavaScript — they are plain forms the browser submits itself.
- Everything is reachable by keyboard: a visible focus ring, panels and modals keep focus inside and return it on close, Escape closes them.
- Status messages (added to cart, saved, removed) are announced to screen readers, not only drawn.
- Text contrast is at least 4.5:1 for all text; colour is never the only carrier of information (a discount is a struck-through price, not just red).
- Form errors are stated next to the field and focus moves to the first invalid field; every field has a label.
- The site works from 320 px wide without horizontal scrolling, and text can be enlarged to 200 %.
3. What is still being improved
Honestly — what we have not checked yet or know is missing:
- There are no product photos yet — grey tiles with a caption stand in for them. When photos arrive, each will get meaningful alternative text.
- The site has not been tested with every screen reader; it was checked with the browser accessibility tree and keyboard.
- The content of a missing product page appears only with JavaScript, although the response code is correct.
4. Report a barrier
If you got stuck somewhere, email info@triovendi.lt or call +370 700 77772 — tell us the page and what you were trying to do. We reply within one business day and fix the barrier rather than explain it.
If the reply does not satisfy you, you can contact the Lithuanian market surveillance authority responsible for product and service accessibility requirements.
